"Good things come to those who wait"

For some reason, last week was really tough. When you want something so bad, and after the emotional rollercoster we were previously on, sometimes you doubt that it really is going to happen. Then your mind starts wandering and you wonder if perhaps our dossier fell through the cracks, or it got moved to the bottom of the pile, or got misplaced. I decided to call our Country Coordinator(Bonnie) for a little reassurance that only she could give. Don't get me wrong, Aaron is my rock, as each day goes by, he says "that just means we are one day closer." How great is that! Bonnie returned my call and assured me that none of the above mentioned things happened, and that things were moving along smoothly. When I spoke with her back on February 6th, she said that there were 5 families waiting ahead of us, 3 that requested boys, 1 either gender, and 1 requested a girl. As of today there are now only 3 families ahead of us, 1 that requested a boy, 1 either gender, and 1 requested a girl. Things are progressing.

We are hoping and praying that things move along quickly and we embrace that saying that "Good things come to those who wait"!!!!!!
