As of June 4th, we have completed 9 months, now starting our 10th month since our paper work & photo book was accepted at Cathwel. This waiting is getting unbearable. My anxiety level lately is up there, wondering if this is ever really going to happen. Aaron said he would give Bonnie (our country coordinator) a call to see if we were getting any closer. Last time I spoke with Bonnie there were 3 families ahead of us. Things are looking up! Bonnie had apologized to Aaron for not calling him back sooner, but she had been on the phone all morning trying to reach the two couples that received their referrals. So with these 2 new referrals, that only leaves one ahead of us, however they requested a boy . . . so we are NEXT!!!! Bonnie assured Aaron that it shouldn't be long now before we get 'our' baby girl referral :-)
Back in October '05' our agency hosted a pool party where we met a great couple from the Tampa area, they were slightly ahead of us in the process. We have kept in contact with them, and we are thrilled for them, since they are one of the couples that received a referral for their little boy!! It is reassuring to us to know that it really does happen!!!!
