RAINBOW CAKE
I decided to take a class while "waiting". I signed up for a cake decorating class and we had our first meeting last week which was basically informational. We did get our first assignment, create a rainbow cake. How ironic, maybe that is a good sign?!!! Pictured above is the completed project, the first cake. I am thoroughly enjoying the class, and next week we are creating a clown cake or cupcakes!! This should come in handy for the many birthdays we will celebrate with our daughter!! You can have your cake and eat it too!

very good job. We have to do what we can to occupy our time...until our babies are home. Just think, you will be able to make the best kid cakes in the neighborhood.

Great job! What a happy cake! What talent! You always see the beautiful cakes in the stores...but never quite so homemade! GREAT job! Our oldest his home for his birthday weekend...he'll be 20 on Monday. Oh the joys you guys will have! :-)
The rainbow cake is so symbolic....it radiates your happiness and expectation.
