Unexpected Surprise!
I prayed for this child and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. 1 Samuel 1:27
We had our court hearing already, yeah!!!!! Bonnie (our Country coordinator) sent us an email that stated our hearing took place on October 18th, and all went smoothly! I couldn't believe my eyes, what a blessing. I sent an email back;
Hi Bonnie,
Wow, that was fast! Okay, here come the questions. The next step is the first ruling, and then the final ruling, correct? From some of the time lines we have followed, they seem to average approximately 2 months from hearing date to gotcha date. Since you know the system, what do you think our chances are of traveling before or around Christmas?!!! Just your gut feeling?
Thank you so much for the wonderful news, you made our day :-) Keep the good news coming!!!
And her response was;
Good morning,
Yes, that’s all correct. On average it’s about two months for travel from this point. Could happen sooner, could take longer, but two months is average.
So we’ll have to see about Christmas since that’s cutting it close.
I was thrilled that it happened so quickly and I will keep a positive outlook.
You have a great day too.
To have her home by Christmas or New Years would be absolutely incredible :-) However, at this point we will remain cautiously optimistic!! We will keep you posted, so stay tuned!

That would be awesome if you were able to bring her home by Christmas. I will be praying that it goes very quickly.
How exciting! I'll be praying for quick rulings!
Wonderful! You both couldn't ask for a more wonderful present! She'll be a blessing forever!
I will keep you in my thoughts for a quick finish. Our court process went fast, 3 months and 6 days from referral. We picked Aaron 2 months from our hearing date. You could make it for Christmas :o)
